There have been a few people asking on Twitter how to do this, so thought I'd try my hand at a tutorial blog, albeit brief, to see if it helps.

Keyboard Shortcuts Used: (Cmd for all Ctrl on Mac) Arrow Keys - Navigate Timeline One Frame at a Time Shift + Arrow Keys - Navigate Timeline 5 Frames at a Ti. In Premiere Pro CS6, running on Windows 7, keyboard shortcut data is saved here as .kys files – C:UsersYourUserNameAppDataRoamingAdobePremiere Pro6.0. This KYS file is created when you save and name a new set of keyboard shortcuts from the Keyboard Shortcuts editor window.
The new KYS file appears in the C:UsersYourUserNameAppDataRoamingAdobePremiere Pro6.0 folder … Logic vst plugins mac.
I never remember shortcuts, I'm terrible. After 16 years, I know about 7 shortcuts in all of the Adobe applications. I have really longed, not just for a keyboard to give me those shortcuts, - but for a keyboard that has the right kind of feel. What is Premiere Pro Keyboard Shortcut Keys? Adobe Premiere Pro is an Adobe Systems Timeline Video Editing App. Premiere Pro supports video-editing with up to 10,240 resolution by 8,19210 in both RGB and YUV, with up to 32-bit color. Audio sample editing, support for VST audio plug-in and 5.1 surround sound mixing is provided. In Mac OS, choose Premiere Pro Keyboard Shortcuts 2. Copy the keyboard shortcuts (.kys) file and paste into the required file location. The location of the customized keyboard shortcuts file depends on whether you've signed in to Creative Cloud Sync Settings in Premiere Pro CC or not.Signed into Creative Cloud Sync Settings.
… and also now appears as a choice within the drop down Keyboard Layout Presets within CS6.
In Premiere Pro CC, the location of the KYS files is slightly different. They are now located at C:UsersYourUserNameDocumentsAdobePremiere Pro7.0Profile-CreativeCloud-Win.
So to transfer your keyboard shortcuts from CS6 to CC, all you need to do is to copy the relevant KYS files from the CS6 location (C:UsersYourUserNameAppDataRoamingAdobePremiere Pro6.0) and copy them to this new location for CC. With that done the new keyboard preset should now show up in CC, saving yourself a world of pain of having to rebuild your own shortcut preferences. Install messenger on mac.

For Mac users, the file path for your CS6 keyboard presets is here: /Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Premiere Pro/6.0. To import the presets into CC, copy and paste your .kys to this new location: /Users/YourUserName/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/7.0/Profile-yourusername/Mac/.
